Vector PDFs in DWF reader What Revit Wants: Force Design Review to open PDF files using Vector information : MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2013 Force Design Review to open PDF files using Vector information If you open PDF files using the embedded vector data (ie. lines), you can then use ADR (Autodesk Design Review) to snap to PDF lines in order to measure them. This may be useful to you if you are using ADR for markup tasks.  In our office, we are still very much PDF-centric, and various PDF readers allow you to measure PDFs anyway, so ... you get the idea. the Analemma : Solar angle and duration calculations are harder then they appear, not only lat/long required, but the earth is tiled, the earth's orbit is elliptical and at different points in that ellipse the earth is moving faster at perihelion and slower at aphelion. This is only an 8 second difference, but if you are going to understand and do it- why not attempt to get it right?
